Exploration of various methodological and analytical issues related to critical thinking and structured analysis.

This was the first class that I took for my minor and I was looking forward to the exercises and projects that were assigned during the semester. The project I looked forward to the most was the Red Team exercise. As a class we were given a sector of the government and we had to pinpoint the weaknesses and strengths and come up with a plan of how to infiltrate it, and we were assigned the agriculture sector. As a group we chose to focus on the family farms, the small ones that make up a large population of the farming sector, and chose to capitalize on the growing network and big data that is a weakness in small farms.

The final project that I did was on insider threats and how to use structured analysis to prevent and protect companies from an insider threat. Overall, the class was very interesting and helped me improve my critical thinking skills and broad system analysis abilities.
